This is a video recording of a talk on the history of anatomy, and the progress it inspired. An understanding of human anatomy makes possible modern medicine, surgery, even representational art. But the process of gaining that knowledge was hard-fought, and the story of the early anatomists is a story of grave robbing, murder, heresy, and heroism.
