The Regulatory Policy Institute - an independent charity which promotes the study of regulation for public benefit - is hosting its Annual Westminster Conference on Wednesday 19 April. This event will bring together regulators, civil servants, academics, people who work in regulated industries or think tanks, and students to consider big-picture questions relating to regulation.
This may be relevant to anyone who is interested in how government regulation can advance/hinder progress, and the philosophies and practicalities of regulation.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Juliet Young, Chief Economist at Ofwat
- Keith Anderson, CEO of Scottish Power
- Tanja Salem, Director of Economics at BT
- Stephen Gibson, Chair of the Regulatory Policy Committee
You can find all the relevant info and a copy of the booking form on the Regulatory Policy Institute website here. Heavily discounted tickets are available for academics/students/think tank employees/under-30s.
